We are excited to announce that we will be holding our Second Annual Boat Auction and Fundraising event this Fall at the Museum. The day will be full of fun activities and is a wonderful chance to get to know the Museum better!
Join us on
The Museum's annual Boat Auction will take place Saturday, September 23, 2017. Auction boats will be staged a few days prior to the auction in the parking lot across Pleasant Valley Road from the main building and next to the Al Wahlig Education Center (former Building #5). BOATS FROM THE MUSEUM'S ACCESSIONED COLLECTION WILL NOT BE IN THE AUCTION.
Bidder registrations will be taken and final auction lot sheets will be distributed beginning at 9am. The auction usually kicks off at 10am.
As in previous years, licensed auctioneer John Reynolds will be presiding.
If you would like to donate a boat to sell at auction to benefit the Museum, or enter your boat on Consignment (Museum receives 10% of the final sale price as an unrestricted donation), please contact the Museum at (607)569-2222 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
You may also begin the process by downloading the donation/consignment form by clicking on the button at right. Boat and Trailer title/registration paperwork should also be submitted with donation if available.
As the Museum begins to collect boats for auction they will be listed here on our Facebook Event site, some with photos. There is also a list of current auction boats below. Remember, all proceeds go to Museum operational expenses, and therefore a good cause!
