| Penn Yan introduced the 14 ft Outboard Cottager in 1937, and offered it through 1947. Built in various construction configurations (Composite, Monowood and Striplank), it was designed for rowing or propulsion by outboard motor. The boat in the Museum’s Collection is the Monowood version, model LP, which incorporated a layer of canvas sandwiched between closely spaced cedar interior ribs and cedar outer planking. |
