Warren Outboard-Runabout

This 16ft mahogany-planked Outboard-Runabout was one of several boats built by Stanley Warren of Riverside, NY. Mr. Warren built the boat in 1946, after returning home from service in WWII. The boat had been in storage since the 1960s, and is a survivor of the great flood that swept through the southern tier of New York State in 1972. When the flood waters inundated Riverside, NY, the boat floated to the top of the barn ceiling, crushing the windshield.
The boat was donated on a homemade trailer, built from the front end of a Model A automobile.
