Morehouse Lightweight Rowboat

The Morehouse Boat Company built hundreds of these 12 ft Lightweight Rowboats between 1946 and 1958. The boats were cedar planked over steam bent oak ribs. Early models (pre-1950) utilized clench nail plank fasteners, and later boats were screw-fastened. This example underwent an extensive restoration in the Museum’s Boat Shop.
