Keuka Lake Rowboat

This 11ft–8in rowboat was used at a girls camp on Keuka lake during the 1960s. The #2 is painted on the exterior face of the transom, suggesting that it was one of several boats in use at the camp. She is carvel planked with canvas covering, and contains a set of folding oar locks mounted on the gunwales. A third oarlock is mounted on the transom for sculling. No builder identification has been found on the boat.

However, some construction features (bilge support under the center seat) are reminiscent of the work of Murray Wright, who built boats in Dundee, NY during that era.
