Angler Runabout

The Angler Boat Company located in Penn Yan, NY built boats during the 1950’s, primarily for sale by Sears, Roebuck and Montgomery Ward. Their product line evolved from strip plank hull construction in the early 1950s to include molded plywood and clinker hulls.

The 14 ft. boat shown in the accompanying photo, taken as she emerged from many years in storage, is an example of  clinker hull construction.
