Finger Lakes Boating Museum From Our Collection
Angler Outboard-Runabout

This 14 ft outboard-runabout was built by the Angler Boat Co. in Penn Yan, NY during the 1950s. Much of Angler's production was devoted to producing boats for Sears and Montgomery Wards, and thus was labeled as Elgin or Sea King. This boat is unusual in that it was marketed with the Angler name. The donor acquired the boat in 1973, restoring it with the help of his father.

Following 32 years of enjoyment on both the east and west coasts, it was donated to the Museum and returned from Arizona to the place of it's origin.
