Penn Yan introduced the Commander line in 1954, and produced it through 1958. Several models of this 14 ft strip planked boat were offered, featuring various deck and seating configurations.

The boat shown here is a CRH model, equipped with a long forward deck, a center deck, and steering wheel. The CRH and CRHM models (the “M” designated mahogany trim) were considered top of the Commander line, and were produced from 1954-1957.
