Thompson Sea Coaster

Thompson introduced the Sea Coaster in 1950, and produced this model until wooden hull construction was replaced by fiberglass in 1966. The Sea Coaster was a great all around family boat, popular with fisherman and water skiers alike.

The boat shown here was built in Thompson’s Cortland, NY plant in 1961. She resided on Keuka Lake for 38 years, where she was enjoyed by three generations of her original (and only) family. In 1999, the boat was donated to the Museum.
