| The Morehouse Boat Company built hundreds of
these 12 ft Lightweight Rowboats between 1946 and 1958. The boats were cedar
planked over steam bent oak ribs. Early models (pre-1950) utilized clench
nail plank fasteners, and later boats were screw-fastened. This example
underwent an extensive restoration in the Museum’s Boat Shop
