The Finger Lakes Boating Museum (FLBM) was founded to preserve and share the fascinating history of the Finger Lakes boating industry and the pivotal role it has played in the development of the region and beyond. The Finger Lakes Boating Academy (FLBA) is the umbrella entity that covers all of FLBM’s active educational activity offered to the public: courses, lectures, demonstrations, workshops, youth programs, on water programs, and special events. FLBA is the primary educational institution around Finger Lakes boating and provides regularly scheduled and diverse program offerings and venues to the community. Please join us in learning more about the history and skills involved in our outstanding boating heritage!
Our monthly Lecture Series focuses on both boating, boat building and other subjects pertaining to the region and its history.
Sponsored by the Keuka Area Fund, these programs will take place at different venues throughout the Finger Lakes Region.
Pre-registration required for courses and workshops. Please call (607)569-2222 or e-mail to register
Workshops are a great way to get started with our museum's educational programs. These short hands on programs give you a chance to learn a skill, take something home and are a wonderful introduction to our programming for all students.
