Penn Yan Owasco Canoe

The Penn Yan Boat Company began offering the Owasco model canoe in the 1920s, and continued to do so until the mid-1950s. The ONS model was listed in catalogs from the 1920s to 1947. (The "N" designation indicates a 16 ft long canoe, and the "S" signifies spruce gunwales.)

This canoe is structurally sound. However, the original canvas covering has been replaced with fiberglass.

The catalog page shown below reveals that the canoe could be purchased for $87 in 1937.
