The Inboard/Outboard Hall
From the early-1900s to the 1960s and ‘70s wooden motorboats were a common sight on the waters of the Finger Lakes. Whether you were a family looking to have fun on the water, a wealthy business executive “schmoozing” your guests, or simply wishing to enjoy the lake the motorboat allowed anyone a chance to enjoy the Finger Lakes.
The Boats
Each object on display has either been donated to our museum, or has been put on loan from its owner to be displayed inside the galleries of the museum. We are truly grateful for the support the museum receives through boating donations and loans.
